The Farms

The Vaz de Carvalho Family owns 100 hectares of properties, of which 30 are from vineyards and are practically all mechanized and planted with selected varieties. Nevertheless, in a clear bet on the continuity of the tradition, a considerable area of old vineyard is maintained, that being of difficult and expensive farm and very low production, produces wines of great complexity and elegance. All farms are located in the municipality of Santa Marta de Penaguião, distributed by the parishes of Cumieira, Sº. João de Lobrigos, Sº. Miguel de Lobrigos and Cever.
